CMA takes a lot longer to train, up to 2 years. CNA training is usually 2 months. CMA's are able to do a lot more than a CNA on the job such as draw blood and give injections. A CNA isn't trained for that. CNA is also known as an LNA a license nurse assistant.<br><b>References : </b><br>I went to school to train to be a CMA/RMA.
