Call local nursing homes and ask if they have upcoming CNA classes. they run about 3-6 weeks. After you complete it, a month or two goes by before you can recieve certification and take the skills test. Some nursing homes will pay for you, some wont. Im in washington and the one i went to paid for everything and hired me on to their team. After atleast six months of working in a nursing home, apply to hospitals right away, they pay you more and the work is easier! good luck
