You have to get a certificate, etc so you will have to pay an educational institution to help you get your certification. One of the best is St. Kate's (see links below) You may choose to use your two-year degree as a building block toward advanced education and pursue a bachelor’s and graduate degree in nursing through our three-tier program — one of the few in the nation that offers a complete continuum of nursing education. Unfortunately, they have such a good reputation that their program is filled for a few years! "The college will not be accepting new applications for Fall 2009 for the Associate of Science Degree in Nursing program. The next opportunity to apply for the associate nursing program will be for the 2010-2011 academic year." The last link is a list of schools in Minnesota for nursing.
